At half-time this afternoon at Edgar Street, HUISA, the Hereford United Independent Supporters Association, presented chairman David Keyte with a cheque for £2000 which will go towards wages this month.
"£2000 to help the club get through to Christmas and everything else," HUISA chairman Keith Dodd told BN.
"To help pay the wages and things like that.
"A contribution to get it rolling.
"There's been a lot of buckets around here today and I think even in the VP's there's been £400 donated just to help.
"We'll get two thousand pounds worth of shares for it."
HUISA have also given £100 towards the cost of the youth team coach to Bournemouth last Thursday.
