Hereford United manager Martin Foyle felt his side had been 'excellent from start to finish' this afternoon in the game against Cambridge United which the Bulls won by the only goal of the game.
"Today the lads worked hard," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"Full credit to the front three. I thought they worked hard. But overall a fantastic team performance.
"The crowd have to go home happy with that but it is just one game.
"I want a little bit more of that especially here.
"The wind was very strong which we had to defend first it half and the back four were fantastic and headed everything that came their way.
"There isn't a lot of difference in the league. I had a good chat with Richard Money beforehand and he said they hadn't really trounched anybody."
Michael Rankine scored Hereford's goal.

"But the goal he scored was well deserved. It was their mistake. We made a couple of mistakes and they broke on us.
"We got away with a little bit but it's a fantastic three points."
Cambridge didn't have a shot on target according to the stats but Dan Lloyd-Weston was quite busy during the latter stages of the game.
"They kept coming at us towards the end. They went to a back three and had a right good go but Weston came out and got some good punches towards the end."
Chris Sharp was back from his loan at Lincoln.
"Give credit to Chris Sharp, has come back, what a fantastic attitude and he probably deserved something.
"Pleased with Micah again and Ranks led the line."
