Bulls Advent Calendar - No.1

This year, Bulls News will be doing it's own Bulls-related advent calendar.

Behind door number one is Kevin Rose.

Arguably the Bulls' most resilient no.1, Rose played 253 consecutive League matches during the 1980's. Originally a Ledbury Town player, he was first sold to Lincoln City for £10,000 in 1979 - a sum worth over £40,000 by today's values.

He returned to Ledbury before joining the Bulls in 1983, where he established himself in between the sticks. He eventually left Edgar Street in 1989 for Bolton, before spells at Rochdale and Kidderminster.

For several seasons, Rose was the only senior keeper on the Bulls' books. When he finally got injured, the Bulls had to bring in a loanee with no reserve stopper available.
