Roaring Success Off The Field At Edgar Street

The function suites at Edgar Street are lining up another bumper winter for the Bulls on their path to financial security.

Yesterday, the Bulls hosted a reception for Old Livestock Market developers McAlpine, with the company bringing more than 200 people to the club and swelling the coffers on a Tuesday afternoon.

A few tables remain for the Bulls' Christmas Parties throughout December, with virtually every room booked through the month for a variety of uses. A few late dates may still be available - ring the club for details on 08442 761939.

The Bulls also have a number of promoted events at the Starlite Rooms over the next few weeks, starting with Sunday's Comedy Night, the second to be held at the Starlite Rooms. After a successful launch last month, MC Ryan Gough returns with four more top acts for the bargain price of £10. Tickets are available from the club in advance or on the door, with an offer of a Curry and a Pint for £5 available on the night.

Friday October 25th sees Tribute to Meatloaf. The night features Harry J Lewis - back by popular demand - as the singer, with support from duo Bright Ideas. Tickets are £20 including food with booking in advance highly

On Friday, November 1st, the second Mod Nite takes place with the Jam DRC returning after their phenomenal debut in the summer. DJs Moon on a Stick and Gary Newman will also be providing a Northern Soul disco around the live music. Tickets are £15 in advance, and £18 on the door.

Further events are also scheduled throughout November with The Jersey Boys tribute Rag Dolls on Friday the 15th, Mick Hucknall tribute Red Mick and Leona Lewis tribute Lynsey on Friday the 22nd, another great Comedy Night on Thursday the 28th, and the Sportsmans Evening featuring John Hartson on Friday the 29th.

Also announced is the first Ska Nite featuring South Wales' finest 2 Rude and top local band, and Bulls fans (mostly, the drummer's from Kiddy...) King Mantis.
