Cambridge have an eight point lead at the top of the table after beating Grimsby 1-0 at Blundell Park tonight. Kidderminster are second after piling the pressure onto Forest Green boss Dave Hockaday with a 4-1 win over the Gumpers. Nuneaton are third following their 2-2 draw at Halifax, with Luton fourth after a 3-3 draw with Aldershot. Braintree are fifth despite losing 3-2 to Welling, with the Mariners ahead of Salisbury, who drew 1-1 at Dartford, on goal difference.

At the bottom, Hyde are 12 points short of safety after a 2-0 home loss to Gateshead. Aldershot's point means they are still five short of 20th place, while Chester moved within two points after a 1-0 win at Alfreton. Woking drew 0-0 with Barnet, while Tamworth earned a point with a goalless draw at Lincoln. Wrexham earned a much needed win with a 1-0 home win over Southport.
