Cambridge lead the Conference by 7 points after today's win over the Bulls. Grimsby are second on goal difference after beating Aldershot 3-0, with Braintree just behind them after a 3-0 win at sorry Hyde. Nuneaton drew 2-2 with Lincoln to stay in the top five, while Luton returned to the play-off spots after coming back from 3-1 down to beat Halifax 4-3. Alfreton beat Forest Green 3-2 to move within a point of the play-offs.

Wrexham are clear of the drop zone only by goal difference after a 2-1 loss at Salisbury. Chester are two places behind them after a goalless draw with Kidderminster. Hyde are 10 points short of safety after their loss, with Aldershot four points adrift. Woking's 1-1 draw with Southport leaves them still in the bottom four, with Macclesfield still in trouble after a 1-0 loss at Tamworth. Gateshead pull clear after a 2-0 win over fellow strugglers Dartford.
