News Round-Up

Former Bulls loanee Phil Marsh has rejoined Stalybridge Celtic. The 26 year old joins the club on a months loan from Guiseley, where he has been since leaving Forest Green in January. Port Vale have banned the local paper from the club after it asked about delays to a special commemorative shirt that around 1,000 fans had paid £55 each for in the summer. The Sentinel says it has been asked to pay £10,000 a season to cover the club in future, a sum not expected from any other paper.

Chester have released striker Ben Mills by mutual consent, and he has joined Conf North Brackley Town. The former Macclesfield man, 24, cost the Cestrian side a fee 12 months ago, but he made only six starts this season with his summer preparations wrecked by an injury picked up at the end of last season. Weymouth's plans to build a new stadium are in doubt after the local council rejected plans to build 170 homes on their current site.

The Non-League Paper claims that Forest Green are to ask Gateshead to release manager Gary Mills so he can take over at the Gumpers. The news has seen Mills, who has won seven of the last eight games with the Heed, jump to the head of the bookies' lists. Former England captain Tony Adams, who lives locally, has also been linked to the job in the local press, while caretaker boss Gary Seward also wants the job full time.

Former Bulls striker Mathieu Manset is available for loan after failing to break into the Coventry starting XI. The unpredictable Frenchman has made nine sub appearances this season, scoring once, but failed to make the matchday squad at the weekend.
