Accrington manager James Beattie is to tap up his contacts in a bid to find investment into the club. The League's bottom side has already needed Beattie's help to pay off a tax bill. John Coleman and Terry Brown are early front runners in the race to be Forest Green's next manager. Fans are even reported to be hoping that the likes of Nigel Clough might be tempted back to the Conference.

Coventry MP Bob Ainsworth has released a string of documents into the public domain showing that the club's assets were transferred into the company in Administration in 1995. There has been heated debate whether the club's assets were in the bankrupt 'Holdings' company or it's parent, with owners SISU insisting they were with the parent company.

Woking are set to agree a deal to keep Luton striker Scott Rendell at the club until January. The 26 year old, who has scored three times in eight games, will have to take a break in the 93 day deal to stretch the term to January. Aldershot want to sign Brentford defender Aaron Pierre on loan. The 20 year old is a fringe player for the Bees.
