FA Cup Draw This Morning

Hereford United will find out later this morning whom they will play in the fourth qualifying road of the FA Cup.

The tie will take place on Saturday October 26th.

The prize money for winning the round is £12,500

In a welcome development, the draw for the FA Cup with Budweiser Fourth Qualifying round will be broadcast live on talkSPORT radio.
It will take place on Monday at 10.30am with host Colin Murray.
While they try and make it an even as possible split, there is no set number of ties in the north or south section each season, it is purely decided by officials at the FA after each round, with regard to the geographical spread of new clubs entering at that particular stage.
With the Skrill Premier continuing its northern bias of late, this time around there are 14 clubs who initially lend themselves to the northern pot, down from 16 last year.
In 2012/13 there were five all-Conference Premier clashes in the north (including ourselves with Southport) and two on the south.
Along with the 40 winners from the Third Qualifying, the 24 additional Skrill Premier clubs bring to 64 the teams competing at this stage - with 32 progressing onto the First Round Proper.
Four teams have reached this stage of the competition for the first time in their respective histories, so congratulations to Biggleswade, Shortwood United. Marske United and Brislington.

These are the teams who are still in the competition after the weekend’s results, grouped either North or South, as they were for the Third Qualifying round, but not necessarily for Monday's draw.

The draw is expected to take place sometime after 10.30am on Talksport.
