Wrexham have offered former Bulls striker Dixie McNeil the honorary post of Club President. The 66 year old spent nine years as a player and manager with the Welsh side. Dragons' boss Andy Morrell has been stopped from signing another defender after Bangor reneged on a deal to sign youngster Kyle Parle on loan as they couldn't afford it. Three of their backline missed Saturday's game, with Mark Creighton being sent for another scan on his knee after feeling more pain during his rehab.

Former FA compliance chief Graham Bean has accused The FA of hypocrisy over their banning of Accrington MD Rob Heys. Chester have confirmed that both Chester-Wrexham derby matches this season would be classed as 'bubble' games by the Police. The move means that away fans for each game would only be able to travel to matches on the official transport with a Police escort throughout.
