Aldershot's place in the Conference has been confirmed at today's Conference AGM.
The Shots, still in Administration, will start the season with a ten point deduction, while near neighbours Farnborough have been accepted into Conf South providing they continue the path stated by the Administrator, with a 100% CVA agreed by creditors yesteday.
However, the AGM was unable to report on a new sponsor. Talks are ongoing but no deal has yet been struck, while the BT Sport TV deal also is yet to be finalised.
The completion of a TV deal is thought to be key to attaining a new sponsor.
