Aldershot have made 13 players redundant following their slip into Administration.
It is not currently know exactly who the players are, but several have taken to Twitter to express their disgust at the situation. At least one of those players had a contract for next season, and the footballing authorities are likely to take a dim view of the move.
Under FA, Football League, and Conference rules, footballing creditors must be paid in full - including all contracts of players, who were told this afternoon by phone of the move.
BBC Surrey is reporting that the outstanding contracts form part of the £300,000 football creditors the club owes as part of total debts of £1million.
