News Round-Up


With their League Two status not yet safe, Dagenham have announced ticket prices for next season. Adults will pay £300 for an early-bird terrace ticket, and between £17 and £22 a game on matchday. Police are seeking the whereabouts of a Rotherham landlord after he disappeared with £16,000 of fans money after claiming to be booking a flight to Exeter for fans to watch their game at Plymouth. 

Luton boss John Still says he will reveal more departures from his squad tomorrow. The veteran boss has added that transfer listed midfielder Arnaud Mendy will not play for the club again whether he stays next season or not, but that veteran keeper Mark Tyler, defender Scott Griffiths, and midfielder Solomon Taiwo are all expected to sign new deals with the club.

Coventry's war between stadium owners ACL and the club has taken a comedic twist after ACL director Peter Knatchbull-Hugessen was caught tying a 'SISU out' balloon to the car of club chief executive Tim Fisher in Crawley's car park. Fisher is alleged to have threatened the balloonist with his English Mastiff dog, who was not present and has not commented on the situation. The club are reported to have refused to pay a £12,000 bill for damaged equipment where the club's Academy train.

Stockport fans clashed with stewards during their draw with Gateshead last night. Fans invaded the pitch after their late equaliser, while one steward was targeted after allegedly dragging a fan along the ground. Mansfield have sold out the home areas of Saturday's game with Wrexham. The match will also be screened live on TV.

Telford keeper Ryan Young has signed a contract with the club for next season. The Bucks still do not expect to name a new manager quickly, with John Psaras expected to remain in charge for Saturday. Barrow striker Adam Boyes is to leave the club this summer. The 22 year old netted 15 times this season to add to the 16 he scored last term.
