Foyle Pleased With McDonald

Rod McDonald scored the only goal in the game against forest Green last night and Hereford United manager Martin Foyle was pleased with his performance.

"He's been fantastic in the team last two games," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

McDonald was preferred to Stefen Stam to partner Luke Graham in the heart of defence.

"Stef knows the situation and he's been as good as gold.

"He knows what's happening.

"Stef has probably been one of my best players this season.

"But I've got to make these decisions to look to the future."
