Foyle Hopes Wide Men Can Help Do the Double

Hereford United manager Martin Foyle is hopeful that his wide men can help 'do the double' over Macclesfield tomorrow.

"We'll go there full of confidence," Foyle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We've got the right personnel out wide to cause problems with their pace and energy.

"They work and track back in and make the formation work."

However Foyle mentioned that the change of manager at Silk Road might mean that the home side would want to put a bit extra effort into their game.

"They've just sacked their manager, so the information I've got goes out the window because someone else comes in and changes everything.

"It will be a harder game now because with someone new, players seem to find that extra 10%."

Meanwhile new youth coach, Peter Beadle, has been talking to H&W about the future.

"The aim is to bridge that gap and find one or two local gems that will get more people coming to watch," he said.

"The directors have backed the youth policy for the next two seasons so fair play to them for that."
