Kidderminster took advantage of Wrexham's game with Mansfield being postponed to go top of the Conference with a 2-1 win at a very soggy Newport. Kiddy lead the table on goal difference with Mansfield holding two games in hand. Wrexham are third, two points behind, with Newport fourth and Grimsby fifth after they lost 1-0 at Nuneaton. Macclesfield closed the gap to the Mariners with a 2-1 win over Telford - leaving the Bucks with a joint record winless run in the Conference at 26 games.

Down the bottom the Bucks are 11 points short of safety with just 18 left to play for. Nuneaton's win pushes Lincoln into the bottom four, while Ebbsfleet drew 1-1 at Cambridge to be six points short. Barrow won 1-0 at Dartford to move within two points of target side Stockport, who lost 1-0 at Luton. In the other games, Braintree and Woking drew 1-1 and Tamworth beat Southport 2-1.

At the bottom of League Two, the playing sides were the winners. Non-playing Aldershot (40pts) and York (41pts) sunk into the bottom two places with Plymouth (43) beating Southend, Accrington (43) demolishing Wimbledon (45), Torquay (43) beating Chesterfield, and Barnet (43) beating Fleetwood. All sides in the mix have seven games left.
