Results Round-Up - Telford Down


The Bulls are eighth in the table on 57 points after today's games. Kidderminster lead the table by a point after coming from behind to beat Braintree 2-1. Mansfield are a point behind, with three games in hand, after beating Tamworth 1-0. Wrexham went down 2-0 at Hyde, and Newport drew 0-0 with Dartford, to effectively put the Welsh pair out of the title running. Fifth place Grimsby drew 0-0 with Barrow, allowing Forest Green to cut the gap to two points after beating Ebbsfleet 2-0 but the Mariners have a game in hand.

Down the bottom, Telford are relegated after losing 3-0 at home to Nuneaton. The Boro move out of the bottom four at Stockport's expense, with the Hatters drawing 1-1 at Macclesfield. Ebbsfleet's loss puts them 11 points short of safety but with three games in hand. Lincoln beat Alfreton 2-0 to stay three points clear, while Gateshead salvaged a late point in their 2-2 draw with Southport for the pair to be only a point clear of Stockport. In the other game Cambridge drew 2-2 with Luton. 

In League Two, when most sides played yesterday, Aldershot are bottom of the table on 41pts after a 1-1 draw with Rochdale yesterday. The Shots hold a game in hand on their rivals, but are 4pts behind Barnet, who drew 0-0 with Dagenham. York are in the other relegation spot after a goalless draw with Bristol Rovers giving them a total of 42pts. Three sides are on 46pts, with Accrington beating Wycombe, Plymouth beating Exeter, and Torquay losing at Northampton.
