After Saturday's 3-2 victory over Lincoln, the Bulls were favourites to win at Ebbsfleet this evening but it wasn't to be. And when manager Martin Foyle spoke about the game afterwards he suggested that the the team hadn't performed as one.
"You have to give credit to Ebbsfleet," Foyle told Bulls Player.
"I thought they totally out-muscled our forward line today. We looked weak upfront.
"We couldn't get the wide players into the game.
"We hit the post, had a couple of half chances first half but they got a lot of crosses into our box.
"I thought we were a little bit selfish. Whether it's competition for places and people were trying to snatch a goal for themselves, I don't know.
"It didn't feel like a team performance tonight which was the most disappointing thing.
"We knew it was going to be difficult but at times when we had a chance to get the ball down and play, our final thinking, our final pass was very very poor
"Were we up here for the battle tonight, at times I didn't think we were."
