The HFA (Herefordshire Football Association) held a consulation event at Hereford United's Starlite Rooms last night and appeared to be very impressed by the organisation at the venue.
The club contacted the HFA a week prior to confirm numbers for refreshments and again several hours before the event to check that there were no late changes.
In order to ensure that the venue was ready the facilities were opened well in advance to allow equipment to be set up for the evening.
Bar manager Ellen Moore welcomed HFA staff on their arrival. Everything requested was on hand. Ellen had organised the table layout and ensured IT equipment was setup and working. Glasses, cups and saucers were neatly laid out and the kettle was boiled as the delegates arrived.
The event was an extremely positive consultation with a number of people involved in local football in attendance. Afterwards Hereford United director David Preedy and his wife Caroline, who were running the Addisons bar downstairs, were on hand to check everything had been satisfactory.
The level of customer service from start to finish was excellent and the HFA look forward to holding further events at the venue.
