Herefordshire FA have released more details of two events taking place at the Starlite Rooms.
Football Development Consultation
Event – Monday 18th of Feburary at the Starlite Rooms, Edgar Street, home of Hereford
United football club. 6:45 for 7pm start.
As part of the FA’s
National Game Strategy, The Herefordshire FA are holding a consultation event
to get feedback on various areas of Football Development within the
county. The event will look at the many challenges which are facing the
local game such as the retention of teams, standard of coaching, increasing
playing opportunities, governance, refereeing and the support offered to the
many volunteers involved in running the game. This event is
aimed at anyone involved in local football/sport, or those who would like to
be, and it would be great to see a wide range of people from different areas of
the game coming together to share their ideas and experiences
Welfare and Respect Seminar – Monday
4th of March at the Starlite Rooms, Edgar Street, home of Hereford
United football club – 7pm start
As part of the continual development of the
Club Welfare Officer role, Herefordshire FA is offering additional training for
CWO’s. The event will cover the following areas:

Protection
of Freedom Act
·
Respect
Updates
·
CRB
Updates
·
Many
more Welfare & Respect issues clubs may have to deal with.
·
The
event is free to Club Welfare Officers and is not exclusive to them as other
club officers can attend.
