Cheltenham Town manager Mark Yates admitted that his side didn't do enough to win this evening's FA Cup-tie against Hereford United.
"We didn't deserve to lose the game but we didn't do enough to win it either and that's the disappointing thing," Yates told the Press.
"We are frustrated
and have a disappointed dressing room but we're still in it.
"They've got some big strong
boys and we knew it was going to be tough. No-one thought it was going
to be easy but we didn't apply ourselves to the best that we could have
done.
"We've now got to go there and perform. Hereford are happy with themselves and quite rightly so. They played well tonight but we can play better and we have to make sure we do that next time."
