Coventry have been given a statutory demand for payment of £1.1million in unpaid rent. The move means the owners of the Ricoh Arena can begin winding up proceedings afterwards if the Sky Blues have not paid, or at least agreed a payment plan, by Boxing Day. Coventry's owners, SISU, have made moves to try and buy 50% of the Arena but have failed in negotiations.

Darlington's former ground will now host rugby after Mowden Park completed their £2million purchase of the ground. The rugby minnows, with attendances of 300, intend to move into the stadium in February and will develop 17 acres of agricultural land adjoining the stadium into training pitches and all-weather surfaces with £4million more in the bank after selling their current ground for housing. They plan to host Middlesboro u21 matches and England Saxons games to help make the ground viable.

Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish has warned that the club's future has created "an edge" at Stonebridge Road. Owners MyFC have confirmed they have no funds to further fund losses at the club, with Daish struggling to keep his players focused on on-field matters. Histon boss Dennis Greene has quit the club, with the Stutes claiming "extreme financial circumstances" for the action. Greene claims his requests for information on the club's finances were ignored.

Kidderminster winger Marvin Johnson has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a fractured big toe. The former Romulus winger has attracted interest from Football League sides this term.
