In his post match interview Hereford United manager Martin Foyle told Premier Sports that he was disappointed with the performance of his players at Barrow this evening. The Bulls won the game 2-0 but Foyle admitted luck was on his side.
"I was disappointed," said Foyle.
"We got the goal at the right time, just before half-time but it didn't change my team-talk. I was ready to have a little pop at the boys.
"They didn't really threaten us too much first half and 0-0 would have been fair result for them.
"The goal gave us a life-line.
"Going down the bank with the wind behind us I thought we would probably get a goal down the other end.
"Overall you have got to be pleased with the three points.
"We've just travelled five hours to come here for a game, we know that is difficult.
"Yes pleased with the three points but we could do better."
Foyle described the goals.
"The first corner came in and Stef ended up on the left wing and put in a great delivery and Josh scored his third goals in three games. It was a good header.
"Ryan broke away, cut inside and a good finish. Game over then."
A few words about Barrow.
"Fair play to Barrow, they kept going, they caused us a lot of problems.
"Probably on another day with a bit more quality in the final third they would have scored."
