Malvern based courier SFT Xpress have donated their time and vehicle to the
HUFC Sponsored Walk. SFT Owner Stuart Fisher will be with the walkers from the
start and at the stop points during the 20 mile walk to help carry supplies and
provide assistance where necessary. He will be stationed at the stop points
collecting donations from passing cars as well as being there for the walkers.
He has also pledged £50 sponsorship.
The four stop points are:
10.30am - Newtown Pub. Newtown crossroads (although pub now closed down)
12.15pm - Radway Bridge Garden Centre, nr Whitestone
1.30pm - Broadlands Lane, Aylestone Hill (where we'll collect the ‘last mile’ walkers)
2pm - ish Edgar Street Stadium
The current total pledged is £5,600
It is not too late to pledge. You can do so by email to jon@hado.co.uk or on twitter @hufcwalk or
Facebook ‘Hereford United Sponsored Walk’ page
The walkers would love to see as many people as possible around Hereford
cheering them home. HUISA are supplying volunteers with buckets to collect from
Aylestone Hill through town and back to the club.
