Gwynne on trial with Newport County

Former Hereford United mid-fielder Sam Gwynne is on trial with Newport County and reportedly was a substitute in their friendly game at Undy Athletic last night.

Another former Bull Tony James, who recently signed for County, started the game but came off after just eight minutes when he received a knock on his knee.

County lost the game 3-1.
