Lowe Confirms Bulls Job Application

Former Hyde manager Gary Lowe has confirmed on Twitter that he has applied for the vacant Bulls post.

The one time Bulls midfielder has also confirmed that he 'was sounded out' for the Macclesfield job that was handed to Steve King. It is being reported that fans were told at a Supporters Trust meeting last night that King's agent, Saif Rubie, is a personal friend of the club's owner. The appointment has, apparently, led to substantial upheaval at the club with several board members set to leave the club.

Lowe, 52, took Hyde from relegation candidates to Conf North winners in his year long reign at the club. Before that he had spent several years at NPL side Curzon Ashton, earning them promotion to the NPL as well as a subsequent play-off campaign.
