Hyde have appointed former player Scott McNiven as their new manager for their first ever season in the fifth tier.
The 33 year old spent two seasons at the club, culminating in a caretaker manager role at the end of the 2010/11 season. He returns after a season on the coaching staff at NPL side Fylde.
He will be assisted by former Premier League midfielder Gavin McCann. The 34 year old played over 300 times in the top flight, for the likes of Bolton and Aston Villa, and played once for England but retired through injury 12 months ago.
