We Could Be Out Of Work warns Pitman

Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman has warned his players that they could be out of work in May if the Bulls are relegated.

"What I've said to the players is if you get relegated and it gets on your CV it will be very hard to find another football league club that's for sure," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester before today's board meeting had started.

"We've all got families, bills to pay, some of us could be out of work in the summer.

"The players know, they're not daft.

"I don't think anyone can say that the players have thrown the towel in.

"Over the last six games they've worked so hard.

"I think we've been slightly unlucky at times and we haven't done the right things to see the games out."

Pitman asked for support to help the team through this difficult period.

"We need everyone. That includes the supporters, the board, the media people because it would be devastating to go down.

"We don't want that to happen. Let's just work together."
