Outside of the drama and speculation of the last couple of days, the Bulls entertain Wimbledon in a crucial League game on Saturday.
The two sides have, in this incarnation, only met the once. August's 1-1 draw saw the debutant Benoit Dalibard cross for Delroy Facey to score the Bulls first goal of the season, only for Jack Midson to spoil the party midway through the first half. In their previous life as the club from Merton, the Wombles never lost to the Bulls in nine efforts.
Whatever decision is reached ahead of the weekend, one thing is certain. The Bulls need three points and the fans to be backing them 100% throughout the 90 minutes. It really is time to save the negativity for after 5pm on Saturday and give the eleven on the pitch the best support that can be offered. This game is entirely winnable and there can be no other outcome if every Bull on the pitch and in the stands pulls their weight.
Wimbledon have amassed just 15 points from their last 20 games, three points less than the Bulls, and have failed to win any of their last five matches. Christian Jolley is a doubt for the match after missing training on Thursday, while fellow forward Jason Prior is also on the injured list after his recent arrival from Bognor. Top scorer Jack Midson has 15 goals, but hasn't netted in six games.
Hereford United vs AFC Wimbledon, Edgar Street, Saturday 3rd March, 3.00pm.
