Opportunity for O'Kelly says Smith

Walsall manager Dean Smith has thanked Richard O'Kelly for his recent work at the club and wished him well in his new post at Hereford United.

"It was an opportunity that Richard simply couldn't turn down," said Smith.

"It's been fantastic working with him over these past few months. He's a good coach, very professional in everything that he does and was a great character to have around the place.

"It's no coincidence that his time here has coincided with us having a good run of results."
