So far, so good is the news on the weather as the Bulls prepare to travel to Gillingham for tomorrow's game.
Temperatures of -3 were recorded in the area overnight, compared to -8.5 in Credenhill, while tonight is expected to be only -1 although light snow is expected around Kent. On Saturday, temperatures are not expected to get above freezing by kick-off.
The Gills have strengthened their squad ahead of the game by recalling young defenders Connor Essam and Jack Evans from their loans in Conf South with Dartford and Welling respectively. Essam, 19, is yet to make his first team debut, while Evans, 18, debuted in a two minute sub appearance in October.
Elsewhere in League Two, other sides are planning pitch inspections today. Both Rotherham and Morecambe are doing lunchtime checks with Torquay and Dagenham respectively making long trips this afternoon and the weather in the North expected to be much worse.
Cheltenham have also asked the Football League for an inspection after temperatures at Whaddon Road dropped to -7, below the protection levels that the club's frost covers offer the pitch.
