News Round-Up

Aldershot say striker Michael Rankine and midfielder Alex Rodman will not play again this season due to injury. Rankine has been on crutches since picking up a leg injury three weeks ago, while Rodman has a viral infection that is still being identified. Blackpool are reported to have made a bid for Crawley striker Tyrone Barnett. The 26 year old only signed for the Red Devils in the summer, and has netted 13 times so far for his new side.

Port Vale say striker Marc Richards needs surgery on an ankle problem, but they will delay it as long as possible to ease them through their current injury crisis. Barnet have extended the loan of former Bulls loanee Paul Downing for another six weeks. The West Brom youngster will remain with the Bees until the end of February. Lawrie Sanchez has also extended the deal of midfielder Alassane N'Diaye until the end of the season.

Accrington have released winger Nat Taylor by mutual consent. The teenager made only one start for the club after signing up from the local college. Kettering have been fined £3,000 by the Conference for failing to pay their football creditors. They will also be docked three points if they fail to make payment by the end of February.
