Further to Barnet's announcement that they are to leave Underhill, the 'nominal fee' that the council have asked them to pay for access is just £10. A Supporters Trust statement says that both the council and club have had valuations done on the land lease in dispute, and come up with roughly similar figures. Chairman Tony Kleanthous has told Sky that he already has planning permission for a Football League approved stadium at their 'The Hive' complex, however the original planning permission for the site bars the club from playing League games there.

Former Port Vale director Stan Meigh says he will back fans' calls for an EGM. Meigh had a seven year stint on the board ended by a vote at the summer EGM, but has told supporters he will use his shares to aid their call. Supporters are also seeking legal advice over the legality of the vote that saw under-fire duo Peter Miller and Perry Deakin elected. Macclesfield beat Chelmsford 1-0 in their FA Cup second round replay to set up a Third Round tie with Bolton.

Burton defender Paul Boertien has announed his retirement from football at the age of 32 due to injury. He was plagued by various injuries last season and signed a pay-as-you-play deal in the summer, but has not featured for the first team. The Brewers have also released striker James Ellison from his contract. The 20 year old made only three sub appearances after signing in the summer of 2010 and had a deal until the end of the season.

Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle has told Ben Swallow and Charlie Clough they can both leave the club. 22 year old midfielder Swallow and 21 year old defender Clough have both had loan spells at Bath City this season. Kettering striker Leon Mackenzie is to retire after this weekend's game to concentrate on a music career. The 32 year old, who scored a hat-trick for Northampton against the Bulls last term, has struggled with injury and a lack of payment from the Poppies.

Southend are keeping quiet over an alleged dressing room bust up after their FA Cup exit on Tuesday. Bilel Moshni, red carded on the night, is alleged to have had a fiery exchange with a number of his teammates. None have broken ranks, but several have taken to Twitter to express their disgust at having their chance of facing Liverpool ruined.
