Skiverton pleased with Cup victory

Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton was pleased to get through to round two of the FA Cup this afternoon at Edgar Street. Three long range goals sealed victory for the Glovers.

"We've been working very hard in training on our finishing and we are now getting opportunity to score goals" said Skiverton.

"We have got players who can hit the ball from over 25 yards - Paul Wotton had a couple of shots before Ed Upson got his goal.

"It's really pleasing because Hereford is a tough place to come and I have feeling for Jamie Pitman because he has done a fantastic job here.

"Hereford are in a lot better position in their League than we are in ours and I take my hat off to him because he (Pitman) has done a fantastic job."
