Bristol City have posted a loss of £11.4million for the past season. The loss is slightly down from the £11.8million loss of the season before, and now means they have burned through £30million over just three seasons. They expect to slash their wage bill this summer with several expensive player contracts due to expire, and will also cut the number of players at the club. Shrewsbury have extended the loan of midfielder James Wallace for a second month.
Port Vale are allowing released Barnet midfielder Tommy Fraser to train with the club. Fraser was Micky Adams' first signing when he first arrived at the club, but lasted just two weeks when Jim Gannon took over. The Valiants' Supporters Club is to meet club officials on Thursday to seek answers on the club's financial state.
