The former Macclesfield chief did due dilligence on the club last year before backing out of a deal. Meanwhile, the Harriers have loaned striker Luke Medley to Lincoln until the New Year. Three Oxford fans camped overnight outside their ground earlier this week to secure tickets for their derby match with Swindon.

Port Vale shareholder Stan Meigh claims he withdrew the proxy support for Micky Adams, forcing the manager to resign from the board. Various fan groups are demanding answers from the club's board over the Blue Sky investment deal, with the club delaying the AGM for two months for undisclosed reasons. Dagenham have signed West Ham striker Cristian Montano on loan. The 19 year old was sent back by Swindon two weeks ago for having a 'poor attitude'.

Darlington council have refused club chairman Raj Singh's demands to release covenants on the ground. The covenants restrict use on the ground, after the council sold it cheaply to the club originally, unless the council receive 75% of the sale profits. Cheltenham have handed full back Sido Jombati a two year contract extension. The Portugese-born 24 year old joined the club on a one year deal in the summer after two years with Bath.

Plymouth have agreed a deal to allow rugby side Cornish Pirates to use their ground next season if they win promotion to the top flight this season. Port Vale have mutally agreed to terminate the contract of defender Mike Green so the player can move back to Hampshire. The 22 year old signed a two year deal in the summer but is currently on loan at Eastleigh.

Accrington have extended the loan of Leeds midfielder Will Hatfield until the end of the year. The 20 year old has started two games, and made two sub appearances, since joining a month ago. Barnet have extended the loan of former Bulls loanee Paul Downing until January. The West Brom youngster has started the Bees last two matches.
