Prior to their dismissal of manager Gary Johnson, Northampton signed midfielder Jason Crowe on a contract until January. The 33 year old spent four years at the club until 2009 before spells with Leeds and Leyton Orient. Plymouth will have three players suspended for next Saturday after they had two red carded on Saturday as well as player-manager Carl Fletcher picking up his fifth yellow.

Port Vale boss Micky Adams says his side is down to barebones after midfielder Gareth Owen tore his achilles tendon. Owen becomes their fifth long term injury victim. Rotherham boss Andy Scott called the ball used in their FA Cup game with Barrow a 'beach ball'. The Millers won 2-1, but Scott was unhappy with the ball used in the game, saying it was vastly different to the usual Football League ball.

Former Bull Trent McClenahan has signed for Perth Glory in his home country of Australia. Plymouth's FA Cup replay at Stourbridge has been selected for live TV coverage on ESPN. Dagenham's FA Cup replay at Bath City has also been picked, meaning Bulls fans can see Sean Canham in action. Northampton caretaker boss David Lee has been handed a one match touchline ban and fined £500 after admitting improper conduct.

Kettering have failed to pay their full wages for the month. Manager Mark Stimson admitted the move to the BBC, with former Bulls loanee Moses Ashikodi telling his Twitter followers he had only been paid 70% of his money. Ashikodi has also claimed that the whole of the Poppies squad is available for transfer.
