News Round-Up

Kidderminster chairman Mark Serrell is one of four club directors to be reducing their role at the Conference side. In a statement, Serrell said they would seek further new directors and investment with one departing the board, and two more dropping to 'associate directors' only. Serrell also scrapped the 'myth' that a minimum £50,000 investment was needed to join the board. He also confirmed that the Supporters Trust, KHIST, would take a place on the board.

Former Stockport boss Jim Gannon is reported to be on the verge of returning to the club. He was reported to have held a meeting with supporters after Saturday's game. Plymouth have named former fans chief Chris Webb, who led the organisation of fundraising and protests during their Administration, as the club's new President.

Southend say they are 90% through the process of being able to start building their planned new stadium. The much delayed, and reduced, project will now see a 14,000 capacity ground and reduced housing and retail built on the Fossetts Farm site. Macclesfield striker Vinny Mukendi has failed in his appeal against the red card he received at the weekend. He will serve a three match ban and now holds the record for the fastest dismissal as a sub in a Football League match.

Swindon have sent loan striker Christiano Montano back to West Ham with boss Paolo Di Canio claiming the youngster showed a poor attitude in training. No Bulls in the Team of the Week. Crawley goalscorer Andy Drury is nominated, while Torquay are the only side to get two players included.
