Cornell Released From Welsh Under21 Squad

Sky Sports News have reported that Hereford United keeper David Cornell has been released from the Welsh Under 21 squad.

Update 7.30pm: The club have confirmed that Cornell will be able to play in Saturday's game, and will join up with the Welsh squad afterwards.

Meanwhile, Shrewsbury have signed Hereford-born midfielder Aaron Wildig on a months loan from Cardiff. The 20 year old has made 21 appearances for the Championship side, but hasn't featured since a short loan spell at Hamilton in January.

In other keeper news, a second ex-Bulls keeper has earned a full international call-up. Darren Randolph played 14 times for the Bulls in the 08/09 season, ahead of new Scotland call-up Craig Samson, before refusing to play in a FA Cup match and being isolated during his remaining time on loan. He joined Motherwell in the summer of 2010 and has today been called into the Rep of Ireland squad for the first time for their game with Estonia at the weekend.
