News Round-Up

Southend say they are unlikely to sign trialist Yannick Boli despite the French striker having a hand in all three of their goals in their reserve win yesterday. Boli won a penalty for the first, assisted in the second, and scored the third. Lincoln say they hope to have a manager in place by next weekend, but that they cannot afford to poach one from another club. They say their ideal candidate will have good knowledge of the non-league scene - and be cheap.

Crawley have extended the loan of defender Tom Eastman from Colchester for a second month. The teenager has played five times for the Red Devils in his first month. Steve Evans has allowed defenders Glenn Wilson and Charlie Wassmer to join Fleetwood on loan for a month. Wilson has started only one League match this season, while Wassmer was a regular until mid-September. Former Bulls striker Lee Morris has left his player/coach role with Eastwood Town after manager Jamie Brough, who was also the club's co-owner, quit the club.

Rumours persist about the future of ex-Bull Marc Pugh, with the Daily Mirror the latest to link the winger with a move back to Burnley.
