Shrewsbury are third after shaking off a Port Vale comeback to win 3-2, while Burton are fourth after their 2-0 win over Swindon, with Crawley and Southend level on points with the Brewers. Wimbledon keep touch with the play-off race after a 4-1 win over Cheltenham, while Aldershot are now seven games unbeaten after winning 1-0 at Bristol Rovers.
In the Conference Gateshead lead by a point after drawing 1-1 with Cambridge, while Wrexham lost 3-0 at home to York. Luton are up to second after beating Lincoln 1-0. Newport lost again, 1-0 at Braintree, and Forest Green lost 3-2 at home to Southport. Kidderminster beat Alfreton 3-1 to stay fifth.
