Plymouth's players will play in tomorrow's match at Burton after a late deal saw them receive part of their wages.
They have agreed to defer August's wages and take 40% of September's money - originally due at the end of this month - to continue playing until September 15th. The Administrator hopes to conclude a deal to sell the club by then, but sources have told the BBC that the club's bidder still doesn't have funds in place despite the Administrator telling supporters that he had received adequate proof last Friday.
Player Carl Fletcher told the BBC: "The worrying thing from our point of view is why did it have to take us to come out and say what we said yesterday to stump up some money? Surely the players and staff should be one of their priorities and it shouldn't have to take the threat of not playing for them to do that.
"They're taking advantage of our professionalism and our desire to keep the club going"Since the threat of strike action a flurry of bets have been placed on Burton to win. Betfair currently report nearly £85,000 having been placed on the game, while the Bulls match with Dagenham has just £1,689 placed at the time of writing.
