Plymouth have named captain Carl Fletcher as their caretaker manager.
The 31 year old former Welsh international has played over 100 games for the club, but was sent off in Saturday's loss to Southend and will miss their next three games. He will be assisted by long serving keeper Romain Larrieu.
The duo are expected to remain in charge until the club's takeover is complete. That could be just two weeks away if leading bidder James Brent can reach agreement with the PFA and major creditors quickly.
