Port Vale boss Micky Adams has told the BBC that suspended midfielder Gary Roberts missed Sunday's training session, before turning up on Monday 'unfit to carry out his duties as a professional footballer'. Lincoln and their Supporters Trust have launched a drive for new investment in the club. The Trust currently hold the largest shareholding at Sincil Bank.

Grimsby chairman John Fenty has quit the club after the Take Over Panel began an investigation into the club's shareholdings. The regulatory body is investigating whether former director Mike Parker, who now holds a majority stake in the club, is working with Fenty in such a way that they must make an offer for all the club's shares under takeover rules. The two men have been buying new shares in the club over recent seasons to cover substantial losses.

Northampton defender Seth Nana Ofori-Twumasi may not play again for a year due to his knee injury picked up last week. His season is definitely over but it could be 12 months before he is fit to play again. Cobblers striker Jake Robinson has revealed he has been playing with one leg shorter than the other, and that he missed a couple of games earlier in the season with the problem. Swindon have announced price reductions on four forthcoming games that will see ticket prices dropped from £25 to £20, but the Bulls match is not one of them.

Former Bulls Sam Malsom scored a hat trick last night to send Weymouth into the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win over Taunton Town. Southend are trialling Nigerian striker Ortega Deniran, who has been playing in China and Bulgaria, and French defender Maxime Blanchard, who ended last season with Tranmere. Also in their reserve team on trial is Staines defender Richard Orlu.

Former Bulls striker Steve Guinan has been promoted in his job with Hartpury College, moving up from the u18 side to the senior team. Torquay have issued an apology to Rotherham's Tom Newey after their matchday programme from their weekend clash said the defender had been fined for inciting the crowd. The Gulls admitted getting the information from wikipedia, where the incorrect information remains.

Wimbledon are investigating after a trespasser got into their stadium on Saturday night and set off a sprinkler that caused a foot deep hole in the pitch. They say the damage will be repaired in time for the next match.
