In addition to not renewing the contract of striker Jason Price before last week's transfer window closure, Barnet have also not renewed the month long deals of Ryan Watts and Exodus Geoghaghon. Boss Lawrie Sanchez says he wanted to keep both Price and Geoghaghon but couldn't agree a deal with Price, and ran out of time with Geoghaghon.

Accrington forward Nat Taylor will miss six matches after a 35 day ban picked up last season playing for his former college side kicked in. The 18 year old missed Saturday's game with Barnet and will not play again until next month. Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio says he intends to bring two more players in on loan when the window opens on Thursday. A striker and a defender will be targeted with Blackburn reserve forward Nick Blackman his prime target.

Gillingham have been fined £3,000 after being charged with failing to control their players in a Carling Cup match with Brighton. Dagenham have extended the loan of West Ham youngster Olly Lee for a second month. The 20 year old midfielder has started all six of the Daggers' League Two matches this season. Accrington will received £110,000 initially for striker Jimmy Ryan, who joined Scunthorpe in the summer. A tribunal told the League One side to pay the sum in staged payments until January, with further clauses capable of taking the fee to £170,000 plus a sell-on clause.
