Stuart Fleetwood, who moved to Luton from Hereford last Wednesday has said money wasn't a factor in his decision to leave Edgar Street.
"It was a new challenge for me," Fleetwood told Bedfordshire on Sunday.
"Money wasn’t a factor, it was more about securing a good deal for myself and a two-year deal was important for me to move. The club showed a lot of faith in me and in what they offered, so I was delighted to sign."
He said he didn't know what the transfer fee was.
"I’m not sure what it is. It’s between the two clubs to decide and they left it undisclosed. It adds no pressure to me. I think the pressure is more on the club than the player, so I won’t be thinking about it."
