It's not been the best start to the season for Hereford United, but compared with last season it's an improvement.
It took then manager Simon Davey ten games to gain four points and he didn't register a win in either cup competition.
Fast forward to this evening. Current manager Jamie Pitman has gained five points from six League games. Added to that a Carling Cup win against Brentford and a money-spinning tie at Aston Villa.
It's still not good but at least it's better than twelve months ago.
And whilst it's a brave fan who would back the Bulls to win at Shrewsbury next Saturday, two home games follow against Aldershot and Gillingham respectively.
Both of those are winnable.
