Wrexham have edged closer to resolving their future after the local Glyndwr University bought the Racecourse Ground.
The university have also purchased the club's Colliers Park training ground, and are set to agree a lengthy lease with the club when the Supporters Trust seal their deal to buy the club.
While there are unsubstantiated claims that the club will be sold this week, the Trust say it will take two weeks to call an EGM to even have a vote according to their constitution. Staff and players at the club are likely to be asked to agree to a deferrment of their wages ahead of a deal being done, or the club may be forced into Administration before the deal is done.
Supporters have already raised £15,000 over the past week to help towards the outstanding wage bill, and the players are back in training ahead of the new season.
