News Round-Up

Barnet say that central defenders Daniel Leach and ex-Bull Darren Dennehy will be out 'for the foreseeable future'. Dennehy has been out since last September. The Bees will also be without striker Steve Kabba for the remainder of the month due to injury. Macclesfield's ex-Bulls striker Waide Fairhurst was subbed during the first half of their game with Dagenham after what manager Gary Simpson called 'a very cynical tackle' on him. He left the ground on crutches and is awaiting news on the injury.

Wrexham say they are progressing to satisfy the Conference's demands ahead of today's 5pm deadline. The club issued a statement over the weekend saying that four of the five demands were 'being actioned', with fans believing the fifth is the £250,000 bond required. Northwich fans held a collection for the Dragons at their game on Saturday, and Kidderminster say they will do the same for their league match later in the month.

Accrington have outlined tentative plans for a new £7million stadium in the town. Chairman Ilyas Khan says he will donate £2million towards the project, with the remainder coming from grants and a share sale scheme. The share scheme aims to raise £1million for a 75% stake in the club with limits on ownership to prevent one person controlling the club.

Port Vale defender Clayton McDonald has appeared in court charged with rape alongside Wales striker Ched Evans. A Valiants statement suggests the club was unaware of the charges relating to an incident in May. Bradford have signed Spurs keeper Oscar Jansson on a months loan. The 20 year old will play in their Carling Cup match with Leeds after Liverpool refused permission for fellow loanee Martin Hansen to play in the game.

Southend striker Matt Patterson is expected to join SPL side Hamilton on loan for the season after trialling at both Oxford and Gillingham.
