Plymouth will name David Jones as their new Chief Executive when they emerge from Administration. He spent 13 years with Southampton as Finance Director during which they dropped into Administration. The Pilgrims have also added Shaun Reid, brother of manager Peter, to their coaching staff. Rotherham have confirmed receiving contact from Coventry about striker Adam Le Fondre.

Morecambe have signed defender Nick Fenton on a two year deal. The 31 year old was released by Rotherham earlier in the summer. The Shrimps have also signed keeper Shaun Routledge on a one year deal. The former Oldham youngster is yet to make a senior appearance. Port Vale are trialling striker Mark McCammon. The 32 year old made just one start for Gillingham last season.

Macclesfield winger Colin Daniel will miss the opening month of the season as he is to undergo surgery on a hernia problem. The 23 year old has been a regular for the Silkmen since arriving at the club two years ago. Plymouth have signed teenage Middlesboro defender Ben Gibson on loan for three months. The England u18 man has made one appearance for the Championship side's first team.

Wrexham's Supporters Trust have urged fans to keep calm and to refrain from 'illegal and harassing' acts against the club's owners.
